MBC Was Two Places At Once In July! |
The First - The “How Does the Inland Empire Strike Back Against Hate” panel where Project Director Candice Mays participated alongside Assemblymember Dr. Corey Jackson and ACLU Southern California Senior Policy Advocate and organizer Luis Nolasco to discuss how the region can do more to ensure equity across a complex region that is as diverse as it is vast. Catch a snippet of Candice’s comments during the panel here! |

The Second - MBC had two firsts at the 2024 Esri User Conference (UC) where we featured a visualization in the Map Gallery for the first time on San Bernardino City Food Access and also had our first UC presentation. Building off of the momentum of being featured in the Summer 2024 Issue of ArcNews, Project Manager Alex Reed provided an overview of how the Combating Racism platform is used as both an accountability and advocacy tool. |
